I discovered Nicole Dollanganger when I met my best friend, Cassidy, around 2019.

My memory is really bad but I'm pretty sure the first songs she showed me were "Rampage" and "Dog Teeth", which were my favorite for a long time!

Her profile on Tumblr during her teenage years was a major source of controversy since her blog had a lot of gross imagery (bugs in food, sad and creepy dolls, etc.) and her interest in more morbid communities such as the TCC upset a lot of people. Many people assumed her interest was romanticizing these topics, despite her writing songs that criticize the obsession some people have with those communities.
