Similar to Catholicism 101, it annoys me when people make comments on basic theology they know nothing about, and not knowing the basics in theology is so irritating especially when you want to argue against Christianity.
The idea that Christianity is disproven by bad stuff happening would mean that Christianity teaches that "bad stuff never happens"
Basically most of the comments trying to disprove God exists are, “if God exists, why does He allow x things to happen?” but way more offensive. I remember reading Didn’t Ask’s blog about this awhile ago, ifGodexists and really liking it. I couldn’t really say or argue why God allowed bad things to happen, since it was kind of common knowledge to me that we aren’t in heaven, so bad things just happen.
I’ve seen arguments about how “God mirrors fascism” and other unbelievably nonsensical comments in servers when I was trying to find genuine anti Christian arguments to challenge myself in debating, and they never even knew the basics of Christian theology, so there was no point in even trying.
In this blog? Series? I’ll be writing about the Christian arguments in general instead of Catholicism.
